VirtuCADD Uploader – Privacy Policy

VirtuCADD Uploader ("the App") is a private desktop tool operated by VirtuCADD (https://www.virtucadd.com). It is used only by the owner of the VIRTUCADD YouTube channel to upload the channel's own tutorial videos to YouTube.

1. YouTube API Services

The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

Your information is also handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

2. Information the App accesses

When you sign in with your Google Account (OAuth 2.0), the App requests permission to:

- upload videos to your YouTube channel (youtube.upload scope);

- read your channel name and playlists, add uploaded videos to your playlists and set video thumbnails (youtube scope).

The App reads the video files, thumbnails and text notes that you place in your own export folder on your computer.

3. How the information is used

The information is used only to upload your videos, set their title, description, tags, thumbnail, playlist and publish time, and to confirm the correct channel is signed in. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

4. Storage

The App stores, only on your own computer:

- a Google sign-in token (token.json), so you do not need to sign in every time;

- an upload log (uploaded.json / uploader.log) listing file names, video IDs, titles and publish times.

No data is stored on any VirtuCADD server. Stored API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, and you can delete these files at any time.

5. Sharing

The App does not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. Data is sent only to Google/YouTube (to perform the upload) and, if enabled, to Anthropic's Claude API (video file name, a few still frames and your note) solely to draft the video title, description and tags. No Google user data is used to train AI models.

6. Cookies and tracking

The App does not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies.

7. Revoking access

You can revoke the App's access to your Google Account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions . Deleting token.json on your computer also removes the App's stored access.
